Here is our Ship's Carbine. These are handy little guns in .75 caliber smoothbore. The barrel is 26" long. You can see a later version of this type of gun on pg. 188 of Boarders Away Vol. 2. The carbine shown in the book is still in it's original arms chest in the Smithsonian Institution and has a post 1809 type double throat cock. Our reproduction has the earlier style gooseneck cock.

Here it is from the left. The furniture is brass and of a style found on East India Co. muskets. The sling swivels are in their correct locations. The lock is marked with the GR Cypher and "Tower". |
