We have some powder horns on hand in two styles. This type has a polished finish.

Since cows are not precision made critters, their horns grow in different shapes and sizes. This means that powder horns will also end up in different shapes and sizes and no two of them are quite alike. Some are straighter, some are more curved. If you have a specific request for a shape, we'll do our best to pick one that is the closest to what you ask for but otherwise we'll just grab the one on top of the pile when filling an order.

These measure from 12" to 15", including the plug and finial. I'm guessing they probably hold 3/4 of pound to a pound of powder...more than enough for a weekend on the trail.

Please note that these horns come WITHOUT a strap. Some people like to use fancy straps, others just a thong.

Because of the shape and size of these, they have to ship in a USPS Medium Flat Rate box if you order one by itself.
