This is our Scottish "Murdoch" flintlock pistol.

It has a forged steel stock instead of wood. The barrel has fancy filework on it. On the left side is a forged belt hook with a pierced base. There is a ball shaped trigger and no triggerguard.

The ramshorn butt contains a vent pick.

Barrel length is 7 3/4" in .52 smoothbore, overall length is 13 1/2". The pistol weighs only 2 pounds.
