This brass flashguard mounts to your lock and helps to contain the flash from your pan so bystanders won't get hit by as many sparks.

These are required equipment for flintlocks by most reenacting organizations.

Our flashguard has an anti-rotation tab for more secure mounting.

They DO NOT HAVE A HOLE drilled in the mounting tab. This is by design so you can fit it to your lock. Locks come in all sorts of shapes and sizes with different sized frizzen screws and you will need to determine the best way to mount this to your lock in order to comply with various blanket organization rules.
