This is our Dutch Flintlock Blunderbuss. It is representative of a mid-18th century design. The Low Countries were producing arms for countries all over the world in this era and it wasn't unusual to see a mix of regional styles on one gun. This piece has a mix of Germanic and British style design features.
It has a three stage, .69 caliber barrel that is available with either a steel 15" barrel or a brass 18" barrel.
These have a smaller sized lock than most muskets and use a 3/4" flint.
